Newsbrief: Pokemon TCG Pocket has topped 150 million downloads on IOS and Android. The digital version of the popular trading card game launched on October 30, 2024, and initially amassed over 30 million downloads in under two weeks.

The free-to-play title has built on that early momentum with the introduction of additional expansion packs (such as the upcoming Mega Rising set) and new mechanics like trading and a share feature that will let players gift cards of certain rarities to friends.

Players can open a small number of booster packs each day without paying a dime, but can spend money to rip additional packs. The title also includes accessories such as playmats, sleeves, and coins that can be unlocked by participating certain events (such as battle challenges) or purchased via the in-game store.
