Ghost of Yotei has topped 3.3 million sales
Newsbrief: Ghost of Yotei, the latest from PlayStation studio Sucker Punch Productions, has accrued 3.3 million sales.
The figure was disclosed in Sony's fiscal report for the second quarter ended September 30, 2025. "Ghost of Yotei surpassed 3.3 million units sold globally as of November 2nd, becoming a major hit like its predecessor," the company said. This means that Yotei achieved that figure in its first month, following its launch on October 2nd.
Its predecessor, Ghost of Tsushima, topped 5 million sales in under four months, following its release on July 17, 2020. It then sold nearly 10 million copies by its second anniversary.
Elsewhere in the report, Sony told investors that the PlayStation 5 sold 3.5 million units during Q2, reaching 84.2 million lifetime sales. Moreover, the company stated that Destiny 2 sales and engagement have failed to reach "the expectations we had at the time of the acquisition of Bungie, Inc."
