Newsbrief: Activision is shutting down Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile on April 17, 2026, after the shooter fell short of expectations.

The title had already effectively been laid to rest after being pulled from stores in May 2025. At the same time, Activision confirmed it would be ending support in the form of seasonal content, social features, gameplay updates, and in-app purchases using in real currency.

Warzone Mobile launched in March 2024 for iOS and Android after a number of delays. According to PocketGamer.biz, it garnered 50 million pre-registrations prior to launch but has evidently failed to retain the interest of players.
