Newsbrief: Destruction All Stars developer Lucid Games is opening a new office in Liverpool in collaboration with design firm Oktra to establish itself as a leading creative force within the UK city.

The studio, which has also worked on titles such as Apex Legends and Sea of Thieves, said the workspace will open in November and will replace its existing headquarters within the city. Notably, it said the new location is designed to meet the needs of its growing 250-person team.

"With the growth of the studio over the last 15 years, it's become important for us to now grow our footprint, but also to remain based within our roots in Liverpool's Baltic Triangle," said Lucid COO, Nick Davis.
