访客3小时前news471

Newsbrief: LGBTQ media advocacy organization GLAAD has announced the inaugural Queer Emerging Developers Program, and has begun soliciting applications for up-and-coming developers from the LGBTQ community. The program is sponsored by Logitech.

It says the program's goal is to "upskill" developers to more effectively create "authentic LGBTQ content using established best practices." It also aims to amplify the visibility of applicants in the video game industry and "accelerate their career velocity."

Accepted applicants will receive four months of professional mentorship, training from the GLAAD Media Institute, discipline-specific mentorship from industry experts, and a featured place on the organization's website. They will also receive a trip to next year's Game Developers Conference, and will receive a pass to the show as well as "a limited travel stipend."

Interested developers can apply here.
