Scopely acquires majority stake in Pixel Flow! developer Loom Games

Saudi-owned publisher Scopely has agreed to acquire a majority stake in Pixel Flow! developer Loom Games for an undisclosed fee.
Although financial terms were not disclosed, Scopely said the move values Loom Games in excess of $1 billion.
Pixel Flow! was released by the Istanbul-based studio in late 2025 and has attracted over 10 million players while also breaking into the top-20 grossing charts in the United States.
Scopely chief revenue officer Tim O'Brien said Pixel Flow! has demonstrated the 'rare and impressive' ability to immediately engage players and praised the creativity of its 20-person development team.
"We are constantly exploring opportunities that could bring more world-class teams and game franchises into our operating system, and this investment signals our ongoing commitment to being a leading partner in the space," he added.
"We look forward to welcoming the Pixel Flow! team into the Scopely ecosystem and supporting their exciting roadmap ahead."
Loom Games co-founder Kübra Gündoğan said Scopely shares her confidence in the hybrid-casual market and explained the deal will deliver vital support without compromising the studio's independence.
"[Scopely's] unique ecosystem will allow us to maintain our creative autonomy while also learning from each other and continuing to build games that can become a meaningful part of players' lives for the long term," she added.
Gündoğan will continue to lead Loom Games with fellow co-founder Emre Çelik.
Scopely—which last year acquired Pokemon Go and Niantic's wider game business, and is currently owned by Saudi state-backed investment vehicle Savvy Games Group—noted the deal will also expand its footprint in the EMEA region.
