Pokemon Pokopia has topped 2.2M sales in four days

Newsbrief: Pokémon Pokopia, the latest spin-off of the emblematic franchise, surpassed 2.2 million global sales in the first four days since its launch on March 5.
Via a press release shared earlier today, Nintendo says the total figure includes 1 million units sold in Japan.
The milestone is notable, as Pokémon Pokopia is a Nintendo Switch 2 exclusive. It joins the likes of Mario Kart World, Donkey Kong Bananza, and Kirby Air Riders as first-party exclusives for the console.
For reference, according to a financial report by the company that counted sales up to December 31, 2025, Mario Kart World has sold 14.03 million copies. Donkey Kong Bananza sold 4.25 million copies, and Kirby Air Riders sold 1.76 million copies. While not exclusive, the Nintendo Switch 2 edition of Pokémon Legends: Z-A sold 3.89 million copies.
