The free-to-play action RPG launched into early access on Android and iOS mobile platforms in 2019 before officially launching in May 2020. It released on Nintendo Switch later that month.
Sensor Tower estimated that Blades surpassed 1 million downloads after one week in early access, grossing around $500,000 in the process. The title has already been delisted from the App Store, Google Play marketplace, and the Nintendo eShop.
