Digital Bros buys the rights to Wuchang: Fallen Feathers for €4 million

505 Games parent company Digital Bros has acquired the intellectual property rights to Wuchang: Fallen Feathers for roughly €4 million ($4.7 million).

The deal will see the Italian company take full ownership of the franchise, eliminating any future royalty obligations to developer Chengdu Lingze Technology ('Leenzee').

The soulslike RPG launched on July 24, 2025, on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X S. It has sold over 1 million copies worldwide and was also made available through Xbox Game Pass.

Digital Bros subsidiary 505 Games published the title, which has generated more than €30 million in revenue to date.

"The game demonstrated strong commercial traction, reaching the top position in Steam's Global Top Sellers chart ahead of release and attracting over 130,000 concurrent users on Steam on launch day," said Digital Bros in a note to investors.

"The collaboration with Leenzee has been positive and constructive to this day, with no outstanding economic disputes between the parties. Securing the IP will enhance the Group's ability to make timely decisions regarding its future development and related investments."

Digital Bros said the move is consistent with its strategy of increasing its slate of fully-owned intellectual property.
